The aim of this assignment is to allow students to apply their understanding of the key concepts into the creation of a proposal to establish their own community organisation.
Each of the following elements should be incorporated into the proposal:
— The organisation’s name;
The nature of work it undertakes (purpose); A Vision and a Mission Statement; A set of organisational goals/objectives;
— An organisational chart that describes key roles in the governance and management of the organisation;
Core funding and resourcing strategies.
This assignment allows you to be creative in the style and format for the presentation of the proposal. This may include: the provision of a proposal in report or document form, presentation slides, and the inclusion of visual means of presentation into the proposal.

Organization’s Name
The organization name of a given community organization is “We Care”, and it will be providing services to those that are found to be suffering from mental healthcare issues. Second, it should also be noted that the purpose of this organization is to determine the major setbacks that the individuals might have suffered and thus will ensure them that they will be able to recover from the given scenario (Campbell & Baernholdt, 2016).
Nature of Work
The nature of work practices carried out by this organization will be many. However, chiefly, the workers will be involved in interacting with patients suffering from mental healthcare issues. They will determine their problems and accordingly will suggest them with solutions and remedies.
Vision and Mission Statement
The vision of the We Care is to serve the vulnerable people suffering from mental healthcare issues and implement state-of-the-art medical technologies to provide unparalleled experience for healthcare.
The mission is to contribute to health and wellbeing by inspiring hope and providing best care services to every patient through education and research and by integrating clinical practices.
Set of Organizational Goals and Objectives
There will be several goals of this community organization, which the top-level management will formulate with an objective to serve diverse population. The key goals of the healthcare organization are to provide direction of work and even make sure of disciplinary approach to work tasks in the organization (Choi & Hye-Sun, 2020).
The goal of the Human Resources (HR) department will be to take care of the workforce by providing them with necessary training and also motivating them at regular intervals. And, one of the important goals of the senior management will be to deploy state-of-the-art technologies that will not only assist them in delivering best care services but also provide them an advantage over other healthcare organizations (Hasanov, Zuidema, & Horlings, 2019).
Organizational Chart
The organizational chart of the community organization will be divisional and will comprise of different departments as shown below in figure-1. These will include – Administrative department, Human Resources (HR) department, Finance department, and Service Support department.

All the departments will be interlinked with each other and all of them will be to work through a collaborative approach. Besides, there will be departmental leaders assigned for each of the departments who will be responsible for the daily functions and responsibilities. He will then need to report the updates to the senior-level management. The rest of the service departments will be directly under the purview of the CEO of the organization as shown in the above figure-1.
The role of the HR team will be vital as they will need to design organizational policies, train the ground-level staff, make sure that all the members of the organization will be following to the stated values and beliefs, and will even deploy a problem-solving approach (McClure, 2015). On the other hand, the ground-level staff will be following to the stated objectives, will be interacting with the clients, and also will be providing them with the required services.
The role of the operations team will be to check whether all the teams are following to the given working guidelines and even following to the principles of quality management or not. They will be then providing necessary recommendations to improvise the future outcomes.
Core funding and Resource Strategies
The purpose of funding is to expand the operations of the community organization and thus allow the teams working to serve more number of clients (McClure, 2015). Second, it is even important to have new tools and techniques regarding mental healing that will be assisting the staff to serve to the patients in a better way.
Thus, the funding strategies will be to look out for potential investors who can either work as a partner or can contribute to the organization from the Social Responsibility perspective (Polgar, Cabassa, & Morrissey, 2016). Besides, the firm will even try to receive the funds from the government on a rational basis.
The operations team will connect with the concerned agencies and will then notify them about the type of operations that the firm is working on. They will be even submitting all the legal and financial documents on time and subsequently will be looking forward to new resource strategies that will assist the organization to achieve the desired goals amid the given environment.
