Project Part 1 – Conduct a Training Needs Analysis
To complete this project task, you will need access to the Training Needs Analysis Template located on the GSE Intranet > Policies & Procedures > Human Resources > General > Training Needs Analysis.
Your task is to self-assess your performance by conducting a personal training needs analysis. This may be based on your existing job role, or your next desired position or career aspirations within an organisation. You must complete the template provided and note down a minimum of three (3) learning needs that you need to develop.

Project Part 2 – Develop a Performance Development Plan
To complete this assessment task, you will need access to the Performance Development Plan located on the Global Star Enterprises (GSE) intranet > Policies and Procedures > Human Resources > General.
Your task is to create your own performance development plan for the next 12 months that focuses on your core competency needs as identified in your competency assessment. The aim of the task is to ensure you develop a competitive edge in your current or future organisation.
Your performance development plan must include the following information:
- Learning/ career objectives – The targets (SMART goals) explaining what you hope to achieve
- Focus areas – The gaps needing improvement such as specific skills, knowledge and attitudes
- Actions to improve your competencies – the learning opportunities that you will participate in the improve in the focus areas
- Indicators for success – The performance measures that explain how you will know whether you have been successful in meeting your objectives

Organisation: Organisation we work for enhances the employee’s effectiveness (Islami, Mulolli & Mustafa, 2018). It is an important part which describes our work goals and objectives we aim for in our work life.
Networking: Networking means connection with the people we meet through contacts. It meets the people in a direction to achieve some information about the aimed field. Connecting to people helps in the process of finding and working for any organisation, it depicts the picture of the objectives of the worker.

Prioritising tasks is important for better production and time management. It is difficult to give better productivity and manage time together. Prioritisation requires decision-making (Ludlow et al., 2020). Therefore, the tasks are required to prioritised.
Factors that are needed to be considered while working out the work priorities are:
Consequences: The result of prioritising tasks should not affect productivity. The production of the employees is the decision makers for their performances.
Total time required: the total time required for each task should be sorted previously. Time provided for the work needs to be divided and distributed according to its importance.
Goals: The goals to be achieved should be set before the prioritisation. Each and every work has a goal to achieve, which determines the importance of the work.
Terms and conditions: The terms and conditions that are to be followed during the tasks should be understood before.

Five Time Wasters:
Smartphone: The Smartphone and their online interactions often take up too much while working. This can be dropped and done afterward.
Multi-tasking: Too much work at the same time affects the productivity of each work.
Noisy Environment: The environment should be sound and comfortable for the work tasks to perform.
Lack of motivation: Motivation should be gained for the tasks to complete. Motivation is an important as it is the drive that encourages the employees to work.
Never-ending communication: Healthy communications lead to effective work environment, but unhealthy communications like gossiping, chats are not good for the environment.

Five types of business technology that can manage and monitor time for work effectiveness:
Computers: Computers make work easier to achieve in a shorter duration. Usage of these devices increases work efficiency.
Software: Software applications help in making work simpler. Most applications even do half of the work.
Networking: Contacting the required people for the job purpose often helps in achieving work efficiency.
Accounting system: The accounting system helps in managing things. This system helps in determining the functioning of the company in terms of financial grounds.
Inventory Control System: This system plays a strategic role in business management operations (Sabila, Mustafid & Suryono, 2018). The inventories of the business are controlled by keeping track.

- Gain Feedback: Gaining feedback from co-workers and higher authorities will help to assess own’s performance.
List of accomplishments achieved: making a list of accomplishments will help to view the self-performance.
Gather analytics: analytics will provide a graphical presentation of performance.
- Self-assessment will make a clear picture of the performance and therefore, will help to determine the distribution of time and work. The time left after devoting to work will help in developing personal competencies.
- Training Needs Analysis is the process through which the company understands the requirements of its employees in terms of training and development of the employees.

The three people whose feedback can be sought from daily work performance and ongoing personal development are the colleagues, the immediate superior, or the team leader and trainer.
One should be ready to face any feedback from colleagues and higher authorities, the feedback should actively listen, the message should be understood and it should also reflect in the smart table.

Quality variation refers to the variation between the actual and the ideal situation. It relates to customer satisfaction (Chen et al., 2018). This variation in quality should be informed to the supervisor so that the differences while supervising are mentioned in the report of the company and the changes do affect the production that also needs to be informed.

- Work Health and Safety legislation: These laws are formed to provide safety to protect the workers’ basic needs and requirements, and their welfare.
- Privacy legislation: According to this law, the personal information of the employees is collected, stored, and released by the institution are checked through again for any update. This has been raised due to privacy concerns of using consumer data for other means (McGruer, 2019).
- Anti-discrimination legislation: This law prohibits discrimination between people on basis of caste, creed, race, or religion.
