Introduction:

This report is very interesting in a demolition project to identify key elements in Occupation, Health, and Safety (OHS) plan. In the development of OHS plan for the demolition project, it is the responsibility of the management of an organization to focus towards health and safety of the workers on the priority basis. In a demolition project, the main activities that are conducted by the project manager is dismantling, razing, destroying or wrecking of any building that involves many of the hazards associated with it. At this stage, it is important to make a development plan for OHS for the demolition project to save life of the workers at the project side.

In demolition project, the management and leadership is necessary to coordinate and facilitate the overall requirements according to the work functions. The schedule and project scheduling updates are important in the demolition project in order to accomplish the project goals effectively and efficiently. There are many obstacles and challenges in demolition project that need to manage in the presence a leader (Zulkiffli & Latiffi, 2019). The leadership of a manager coordinates and communicates with the workers and provides guidelines to complete the tasks as soon as possible without any major accident.

The management and leadership are important in occupational health and safety plan to control and execute the demolition project successfully. In the presence of management and leadership, the possibility of any accidental injuries can be removed because of working in the presence of experienced leadership. The management and leadership help to prepare first before demolition of the building and assure its successful completion.

After making a report on the key elements to develop plan for OHS for the demolition project, it can be sated that the policy and commitment and implementation and operation are the essential elements in this project. Additionally, identifying hazards and managing risks and measuring performance are also associated with the development of the OHS plan because these are very helpful to raise responsibilities, commitments or expectations across the project activities and improvement of business relationships.
